Surprise Toy: Bristle Blocks from Battat

Oh goodness! We have a new favorite in this house. Can you tell?

Let me contain the excitement! Ok.

*deep breath*

Ahhhh, we absolutely love our new Bristle Blocks from Battat!!!!!! Oops, couldn't contain it!

Ok, deep breath again…

I am really excited to tell you about this 113 piece Bristle Blocks set from Battat.

Why are we loving them so much?

The Bristle Blocks are not the typical blocks you find everywhere, what makes these so special is that you can stick them together on any direction letting your kid be more creative and less frustrated than with regular blocks (where they can only build in one direction, up).

They come in different shapes and vibrant colors perfect for the development of kids' senses, and have a total of 104 building blocks, plus this particular set also includes nine (9) figurines: a family of four people (4) and five (5) animals. Each figurine has a rotating base that can attach to the rest of the blocks.

Family figurines: daddy, mommy, sister and brother.

Animal figurines: cow, dog, hen, piggy and sheep.
A thing that got my attention was that these blocks are kind of flexible, which makes it easier to stick them together because they mold into each other better. It also means that kids won't be able to destroy them easily. Oh, and they suit ages 2+. You don't have to worry about choking because pieces have a good (big) size for tiny hands. They are also made out of high quality materials for safety, and if you want to learn more you can visit their page here: Battat Safety.

Still, tell your kids to pick them up before going to bed because these are painful to step on during the night lol!

This Bristle Blocks Set comes in a convenient carrying case with handle that is great for transportation, and also makes clean-up a breeze. (I am pretty sure that almost every other Bristle Block set comes with a convenient carrying case, BUT since I don't own all of them I cannot be 100% sure if they come with one).

Final thoughts? I never heard of these until recently. Kiddo has been a fan of the (4 letter name) popular building blocks, but since they can only stick together in one direction, Kiddo was getting frustrated because he wasn't able to create what he had in mind. The Bristle Blocks from Battat have let his imagination and creativity flow waaaay better.

This set doesn't have a specific theme to it, and I love that because the amount of possibilities are endless. It comes with some ideas on the packaging, but those are only a handful compared with all the things you can do with this set. We have built trains, castle, farm, space ship, a pier with boats and a lighthouse, cars (with car seat for kids' safety *wink*)…. lots of things.

This case is pretty big, but I am truly considering to take it with us in our next trip too. I don't care how much space it takes, it is so worth it because it helps stimulate my little one's creativity and can keep him entertained for hours (way better than watching cartoons on a phone).

I cannot recommend the Battat's Bristle Blocks enough! They are an AMAZING gift for kids. My four year old loves them, and play with them every single day. And every time he builds something new he gets super excited that he accomplished what he had in mind! It is wonderful to see how creative kids get with these blocks! Needless to say, Battat's Bristle Blocks are
100% KIDDO APPROVED!!!!

*I have a video to upload, but for some reason it is not showing up. Don't worry, I'll work this out so you guys can see more about these wonderful blocks!*

*I received the product for testing purposes in exchange of my honest review. Although the product was free opinions are 100% my own.

  3. These things are still around!? I didn't know they were called Bristle Blocks (though that makes sense) back then. I used to play with these things with my younger cousins (in their 20s now) they loved them!. Glad to see they are still around bringing enjoyment to kids. Thanks for reminding me of these. I might be getting couple of these in a few years when the newest babies in the family get older!
