Baby Gifts: Littleware Baby Food Storage

*I received the product for testing purposes in exchange of my honest review. Although the product was free opinions are 100% my own.

New addition to the Baby Gift Box for Kiddo 2.0: The Littleware Baby Food Storage

These cute 5 oz, plastic containers are BPA and BPS free. They can be microwaved, frozen and washed in the dish washer. The lids snap on pretty easy, yet securely. Kiddo 2.0 is not here yet, so we have been using these for snacks like cereal, cheese crackers, some crunchy M&M's and mini muffins (yes, they fit great, 2 per container) to test them.

As I mentioned, we don't use them for liquids, these are not leak proof, so if you get them, do not store or transport liquids because the containers may leak. When Kiddo 2.0 gets ready for solids we will use them for puree. I know Mommy 2.0 is going to be so excited about making him homemade food and these are perfect for that. That is why the Littleware Baby Food Storage is part of our Baby Gift Box for Kiddo 2.0.

The Littleware Baby Food Storage Containers come in a pack of twelve (12). I love that you can stack them one on top of another. It is really convenient because you can be sure that they are not going to fall off when you store them stacked in the fridge. Although, I wish they could nest for easier storage, but that is not a biggie with me, since I am a Mason Jar lover and they don't nest either and I am ok with it.

They are about the size of a large baby food jar. Perfect serving size for the little peanuts. It is better, actually, because you can control the amount you want to store in each container and you don't have to worry about leftovers going bad, like when you purchase premade stuff in the store.

I mentioned that they are dishwasher safe, but I prefer to wash them by hand. I am always paranoid about plastic getting melted in the heat of the dishwasher haha! But, maybe it is just me. Anyway, these are really easy to wash by hand if you choose to :)

As time passes by you will definitely see more about these baby food storage containers. Since they are part of the Baby Gift Box you will see them again in our updates and yet again when Mommy 2.0 opens her gift. (It is probably going to be a suitcase, not a pretty box with a bow lol)

Kiddo had other ideas for the Littleware Containers so I didn't let him play much with them ha! e mentioned how great these would be for insects! HE wanted me to poke holes in the lids and use these to put insects inside and learn. I can totally see these working for that, but not this time buddy!

Conclusion: these are versatile haha!

We are really satisfy with the quality of the Littleware Baby Food Storage. They will definitely work for their purpose, are easy to clean, can be stacked for organization and this product makes a perfect baby shower gift for new parents.

NOTE: do not use these containers (or any other plastic container) for carrots, they will always stain if left for long periods of time in contact with the plastic. Carrots will stain everything but glass. You are warned lol!

  1. Wow, you get a lot of little containers in this box! I don't have kids but I use containers like this for snacks and for packing lunches. These are great containers for salad dressing when you pack a salad for lunch.

    1. What a great idea about the lunches! And yes, I love that they are a pack of 12. So one box is enough for 1 baby :)

  2. I was thinking I would use these for snacks. Especially for those big bags so I can portion control. Even for cereal. Because I tend to go overboard with a "bowl" of cereal. lol

    1. I hear you! I am the same way and that is a great alternative!

  3. Although we don't need any kind of baby food jars; but we can't ignore such type of baby food jars. These food jars are quite beneficial for our babies as it helps to keep our baby's food safe and hygienic; therefore new mothers are used to store baby foods in these kinds of baby food jars. Medically these food jars are healthy and chemical free so we can go for these kinds of baby food jars.
